neverenough asked: I know that there are sooo many stories out there, but I just wanted a general opinion. Some anime is so different from the original manga that it’s hard to even decide which one is better.. Let me know what you guys think.. Here are some examples of what I read/watch:
Naruto/Naruto Shippuuden – anime
Bleach – manga
Full Metal Alchemist – anime
Fruits Basket – manga
Tsubasa [Resevoir] Chronicles – mostly anime, but some manga
DNAngel – both
Death Note – manga

doctor_76 asked: Don’t get me wrong, I love ‘G-Force’, ‘Voltron’, ‘Starblazers’, etc… But I just can’t figure out where the intrest for the current batch of anime comes from. From ‘Full Metal Alchemist’ to ‘Naturo’, what is the draw to these cartoons?
Also, I have been a comic fan for YEARS and own probably over 10,000 issues but I just can’t bring myself to read those backward digest-sized manga comics…
Please do tell me what is the fasination with anime & manga???

Soshi Uso asked: I’m talking about rather major changes.
For instance: Bleach has its filler arcs, but remains faithful to the manga all the same.
However, Full Metal Alchemist split off completely and introduced new characters, ultimately ending long before the manga and in (likely) a completely different fashion.
If the anime just left information out of the manga, that’s not worth mentioning (too many series do that). I’m looking more for new things appearing in the anime.
