I’m wondering why the anime is so different than the manga.
The manga is amazing and if it was turned into anime it would have made a better profit then the anime did. do you think so?
Also I’ve been hearing that a new season is coming out. Is this true? and if it is then what will this season be about? The movie answered a lot of questions. do you think that they will use some plot from the manga?

They made the anime long before the manga was finished, and so the writers devised an alternate ending. However, there has been talk of remaking the anime when the manga is finished.
The anime is different from the manga because the anime are released closely with the manga. The manga is released irregularly and they released like 3 tankobon (manga volume) each year.
“The anime’s later story and conclusion by Bones is different from the manga (which is still ongoing) due to a request by Arakawa. During the making of the anime, Arakawa was present in meetings to give the staff insight in the world of Fullmetal Alchemist, though she did not actively take part in any writing for the TV series.”
I wonder why so many people likes the anime though because personally I think the anime is 70% filler
The anime company probably decided to continue the series and making up the storyline because of large fanbase (which means, more money for them >__
The difference is when the anime came out there was only one manga volume available for them to work from. Thats why its so different.
